MCGamer’s Valentine’s Day

Love is in the air! MCGamer hosted its annual Valentine’s Day event, and Team Helix had the honor of creating the map! We made sure that this event would be memorable, so we created several romantic features that would make for the perfect Minecraft date! You can bring your player 2 along with you to a maze, boat race, or find exhilaration in a roller coaster, or even throw yourselves

The Gemstone Hall

We were commissioned to construct a luxurious lobby where players involved in a major Survival Multiplayer Project (SMP), would gather around and enjoy the company of their peers from fancy balconies. The main stage is the beacon of entertainment, you will pass through a contemporary reception and main lounge, and if you’re curious, you can take a sneak peek backstage and see the stars and crew get ready in the

Six Cross

Inspired by London’s King’s Cross and St. Pancras station, we celebrated Helix’s 6th year anniversary by building a BedWars map that highlighted the long and aesthetically pleasing train journey that the team has been on so far.

Wine Island

Bienvenue en France! Wine Island is a server lobby inspired by the rich ambience and radiant charisma of Southern France. We incorporated a fruitful orchard and cheese and wine shop, supported by a dock and an elegant 19th century limestone mansion.

Porte Orange

Avast Ye! Porte Orange is a multi-tiered pirate fortress where pirates every year return to the Caribbean island to fight for the treasure hidden throughout the fortress. Designed for MCGamer’s Battlegrounds gamemode, it’s developed primarily to deliver chaotic but PvP-friendly gameplay.

Canopy Lounge & Coral Reef Rest

Welcome to the wilderness! Canopy Lounge introduces you to the colossal heights of the jungle, in which a tribe lives peacefully amongst the trees while the waterfall washes through. At Coral Reef Rest, you can immerse yourself underwater via an underground path, and get a closeup of the ocean life. Happy exploring!

Survival Games: New Horizons

Ground Control to Major Tom, it’s an oldie but a goldie! New Horizons was one of the first few maps led directly by Sanders in Helix’s early days. It’s crowded with space tech, geometric decorations that blend seamlessly with bio-labs, space mines and more! Players get to explore a distant space station that became a home to many. Originally a submission for MCGamer, New Horizons beams a light on the

Survival Games: California

Lights, camera, ACTION! In this rendition, we took some of the most popular landmarks of California and weaved them together in a Survival Games map. You can take a gambling bet at the Casino, or take a drive through the iconic Golden Gate bridge. Perhaps you’d also be interested in taking a relaxing break at the dLuxe hotel, before going celebrity spotting in Hollywood! Surf’s up, it’ll be a rad

Survival Games: Holiday Resort 2

Originally built in 2015, “Holiday Resort 2” is the sequel to Simey’s original Survival Games map “Holiday Resort“. Being enthusiastic Minecraft Survival Games players at the time, the team decided to rework the original map; primarily to improve aesthetics as well as to tweak certain gameplay aspects of the map to allow for quicker Survival Games matches. In 2020, the team decided to go back to “Holiday Resort 2” to
